ANN ARBOR ? eCommerce developer Fry Inc. has hired former Loyalty Lab founder George Loyer as managing director of its San Francisco office.

He will oversee all client work produced in for Fry?s California?s clients, managing a staff of professionals in the areas of account and project management, information architecture, technical and creative design, and production.

?We?re very excited to have George leading the San Francisco office,? said Fry CEO David Fry. ?His experience in retail as well as the Bay Area will be instrumental to our continued growth.?

Prior to joining Fry, Loyer was a founder and vice president of engineering for Loyalty Lab, a software-as-a-service loyalty system provider for retailers. He also consulted in the loyalty market as senior director of technology with Loyalty Matrix and served as vice president and general manager of professional services for Netcentives, an online loyalty network.

Fry also announced its San Francisco office had moved to the edge of Potrero Hill at 444 De Haro Street.
