ANN ARBOR ? Sept. 22 is the last day to sign up for the Ann Arbor IT Zone Virtual Reciprocity Ring. If you’re interested in locating, sharing and developing projects and clients in our technology community ? this is specifically for you.
The IT Zone is launching a Virtual Reciprocity Ring* ? a virtual social networking community. Our first ring will be limited to 50 participants. The launch event is a three-hour workshop on Thursday, September 28 from 8:30 ? 11:30 a.m., at the MITC conference facility. All participants must bring a wireless-equipped laptop computer and complete a brief on-line survey prior to the event. The on-line survey instructions will be e-mailed to participants on September 25.
The workshop will include a combination of live and on-line activities that will establish and build our networking ring. At this workshop, you?ll:
Solve at least one of your pressing business problems
Meet and learn about the other participants
Discover opportunities
Learn how to effectively use the ring
The IT Zone is committed to growing this community as a resource for our developing technology economy. Your paid participation in the September 28 launch includes participation in the ring for six months ? at no additional charge. The ring will be administered by the IT Zone and will include periodic in-person meetings of the ring participants to develop contacts and relationships.
Reservations for this workshop are on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $50 for IT Zone members and $125 for non-members.
