PLEASANT RIDGE ? Online promotions agency ePrize has promoted Alesya Opelt to vice president of marketing.
As vice president of marketing, Opelt is responsible for leading ePrize?s marketing initiatives, public relations activities and internal and external events for the company?s offices in Detroit, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and London.
Opelt has been with ePrize for more than five years and previously held the position of senior director of marketing. In this role, she was the visionary and manager responsible for the creation of the annual ePrize Interactive Promotion Summit, an interactive promotions industry event which draws more than 400 attendees from major brand marketers and agencies. The Summit features presentations by global thought-leaders in the marketing community and an awards program. Opelt also led the successful media launch of the Caffeine Promotions Platform in 2007, establishing the tool as a recognized and valuable marketing medium for small to medium-sized businesses.
Opelt joined ePrize as a project manager for clients including Hanes, 7-Up, Orbitz, Unilever and the Detroit Pistons. Prior to joining ePrize, Opelt was a columnist and editor at AltaVista Company in Palo Alto, Calif. Opelt earned a bachelor?s degree in marketing from Western Michigan University.
