ANN ARBOR – Ann Arbor SPARK has pushed back the deadline for application to the October Entrepreneur Boot Camp from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 to expand the pool of folks participating.

The next scheduled Entrepreneur Boot Camp will be held at the MITC Building, 1000 Oakbrook Drive, Ann Arbor, on October 29 and 30.

The Boot Camp Program compresses the usual three-month learning curve to move a great business to the next level with two intensive days of learning. You’ll spend two days and evenings learning how to identify critical issues for your business plan.

A seasoned entrepreneur will lead you in the Boot Camp. He will be complimented by a host of local business experts.

You’ll learn how to develop a solid business planning foundation, design effective investor presentation, and work one-on-one with experienced business executives.

Concise positioning statement (Elevator pitch)

Executive summary – 2-3 pages

Investor presentation – six minute summary form

Road map to the next company milestone

Finally,you will have an opportunity to present to a panel of venture investors, with the enthusiastic support of the Ann Arbor Community.

Boot Camp is limited to twelve entrepreneurial ventures; each with a two-person team. The total cost to attend the two day Boot Camp with instruction, food, books and materials, is $995 per team.

At the completion of Entrepreneur Boot Camp, participating teams get an opportunity to present their company to an investor panel. The team judged as the best opportunity will win an initial engagement at the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Accelerator valued at $5,000.
