TROY – XM Satellite Radio and Delphi Corp. are rolling out Delphis XM Roady2 satellite radio at retail stores nationwide this week making XM Satellite radio available more accessible for after-market vehicles.

XM partners primarily with General Motors to install receives in new vehicles; Delphi is the world’s largest auto parts company and was spun off from GM.

The Roady2 which Delphi contends is four times smaller than competing plug-and-play models sells for $129.99, has a built-in wireless FM adaptor and can display up to 20 customized stock quotes along with 120 digital radio channels of commercial free music, news, sports and talk radio.

If you want to unplug the Roady2 from your car or truck and take it inside, Delphi will have home kits and portable audio systems for the Roady family of products at retailers nationwide this fall.

XM Satellite Radio is now listened to by 2.1 million subscribers, making it Americas No. 1 satellite radio service, Delphi said.
