DEARBORN – The deadline to register for the 21st Annual Labor and Employment Law Forum Is Sept. 22. Only a handful of seats remain for this Oct. 3 event which provides a wide variety of labor, employment, employee benefits, and immigration issues facing employers today.
Daniel Tukel, Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Department, said registrations are going well so far.
“We always sell out so anyone interested should sign up as soon as they can,” he said. “We’ll do our best to accept registrations until we reach capacity, which is 300.”
As in year’s past, the form will be held at the Dearborn Inn. A catered lunch with a keynote speaker and a post event reception are included in the $175 fee. The reception will allow attendees to speak directly with Butzel Long attorneys.
“The highlight of attending the conference is you can customize it for your individual needs,” Tukel said. “We’ll have an interactive panel discussion on how to conduct workplace investigations with our Butzel players. We’ll have 15 different workshop sessions of which attendees can select three. Those include labor, employment, immigration and benefit topics.”
The ideal attendees would be business owners, directors of human relations departments, and other attorneys who want to learn the most up to date labor law information, he said.
