GRAND RAPIDS – Technologist Keith Brophy will provide his annual forecast of what technologies will change our lives on Feb. 16 at the Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids. The event is again sponsored by aimWest.
This year?s Tech Trends event will feature an American Idol-style panel of judges, who
will rate Brophy?s technology predictions and provide lively, fast-paced commentary.
“This event has proven to be both fun and impactful over the years,? said Brophy. ?My
predictions are aimed to spark deep thinking about what?s around the corner. One of our
earliest predictions was that the iPod and its follow-ons would make a big impact on
society ? a prediction hotly debated at the time! This year’s predictions are shaping up
to be the most controversial yet.”
Networking begins at 5:30pm, and the presentation will start promptly at 6:15 pm. The
event is free for aimWest members and $20.00 for non-members.
“We?re really excited to have Keith back again for this year’s Tech Trends event, which
we?ve reinvented to make even more engaging. There will be some new twists in the
program that fit with the Wealthy Theatre venue. Techies, and especially non-techies,
will love this great program,? said Daniel Estrada, aimWest Board President.
