BATTLE CREEK – Battle Creek Unlimited has added another business to its growing Fort Custer Industrial Park complex – corePHP, a full service website development, graphic design and printing services company.

Originally developed as a freelance company in 2001, corePHP provides expertise in web-based programming and content management systems for both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Recently they have been working with a Fortune 500 company on a digital menuboard project that will revolutionize the fast food industry. By the end of 2009, this nationwide franchise will be utilizing this digital menuboard system in all its U.S. locations.

corePHP added a new division featuring graphic design and printing services, making it a full service design firm that gives its clients high quality creative services without the ??big agency? price. corePHP has a graphic design team that is multifaceted with the experience, versatility and imagination necessary to handle all of its clients creative needs.

??We are dedicated to bringing the highest quality products to businesses and the general public,? said Steven Pignataro, owner of corePHP. ??Our goal is to take web development to the next level, and we??re excited to be joining the Battle Creek business community.?

With the help of business incubator assistance funding from bcVentures, a division of Battle Creek Unlimited that focuses on assisting the development of technology businesses, corePHP is taking root in mid-Michigan.

??Although bcVentures is focused on developing homeland security and aerospace spin-outs, we are always on the lookout for great businesses that could take advantage of the same start up services as those provided to our primary market. In that case, ??corePHP?? is precisely the type of start-up business that we are looking to support,? said Jack Miner, managing director of bcVentures. ??These are the type of entrepreneurs we want to invest in.?

Battle Creek Unlimited is the economic development organization that works with the City of Battle Creek to transform and diversify the Battle Creek economy, in part through developing Fort Custer Industrial Park.
