PONTIAC – Automation Alley has been named one of the top successful emerging organizations across the Detroit region in the eleventh annual Future 50 of Greater Detroit competition.

Sponsored by the Detroit Regional Chamber and held in conjunction with BDO Seidman LLP, Smith Barney, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., and WWJ Newsradio 950, the competition recognizes winners based on revenue and impact on Southeast Michigan’s economy through growth in employment, investments and community enhancement.

Automation Alley’s vision and efforts to recreate the image of Southeast Michigan from “rust” to “tech” played a key role in being named one of the Future 50.

“We are honored to be part of the Future 50 of Greater Detroit,” said Ken Rogers, executive director of Automation Alley. “With the dedication of our business, education and government alliances, Automation Alley is ensuring Michigan remains a leading competitor in the global marketplace.”

Automation Alley was conceived in 1999 to provide a toolbox of resources to meet the needs of its member companies, which include educational institutions, government entities, municipalities and businesses from a variety of sectors in eight counties of Southeast Michigan.
