BEIJING, China – The Automotive Industry Action Group and the Society of Automotive Engineers of China on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to promote dialogue and collaboration between the North American and Chinese automotive industries in the areas of technology, management and standards development.

The agreement establishes a foundation for both associations to

work together in support of their members’ needs for standardized processes

in quality, materials management, logistics and e-commerce.

“AIAG is resolute in working cooperatively with the Chinese automotive

industry to advance the development of standard business processes in order

to create collective value throughout the global automotive supply chain,”

excited to partner with SAE of China, one of the most prominent automotive

associations in the region, and gain insight into their advancements in

engineering and technology.”

The Memorandum will initially focus on channels of communications for sharing

information between AIAG and SAE of China.

America, is lending its expertise in the standardization of business

practices to help develop a robust China automotive supply chain,” said Fu
