ANN ARBOR – MICyberPatriot needs contributions to support its critical mission of increasing the number of Michigan Schools participating in the national CyberPatriot Program.

But MICyberPatriot isn’t just aimed at grade-school students. It also provides education for parents and grand parents who may not be cyber savvy, but want to communicate with the younger generation through the Internet.

Joining Matt Roush and Mike Brennan on MITV is MICyberPatriot co-founder Tamara Shoemaker who explains why keeping the program funded, and encouraging cybersecurity professionals to serve as mentors, helps both grade-school students and older Americans remain safe on the Internet.
