| DETROIT – The NDIA Michigan Chapter encourages young people to become informed about Math and Science, so they can explore their interests and make informed career choices in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields.
Every year, we demonstrate our commitment to supporting STEM education by awarding $1,500 scholarships for students seeking education at community colleges and $3,000 scholarships for students attending universities. The scholarships are available to active-duty military and dependents; multiple scholarships will be awarded.
Applications are due by May 30, 2026
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Michigan residents or active-duty military/dependents stationed in Michigan
- Current high school seniors in pursuit of a certificate or degree at a Michigan-based college or university in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Committed to attending a Michigan college or university before the 2026 Fall Semester
- Possessing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Demonstrated growing interest in college preparatory studies
- Active within their school and/or local community
Scholarships will be provided to the student’s learning institution prior to the start of the fall semester 2026.
