DETROIT – The Michigan Science Center this year developed an innovative program to introduce middle school girls to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. On Friday, Detroit Public Television will stream live a two-hour program featuring community and business leaders discussing creating spaces for women and girls in STEM.
The program will outline the challenges, successes and progressive strategies in gender diversification with the STEM workforce. Speakers include:
Major Gen. Gwendolyn Bingham, U.S. Army and Commander of the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command in Warren, who will deliver the keynote address. Gen.
