Data from the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control shows the majority of the licenses approved so far are for dispensaries in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. But now, the division has decided it will stop granting them in those cities until further notice.

Officials said dispensaries in other counties need approval first.

As of now, there is no official statement regarding how long the cap will last.
