ANN ARBOR – On this edition of Michigan Marijuana Today, long-time cannabis activist Chuck Ream joins co-hosts Mike Brennan and Tim Beck to recap the 2026 Hash Bash celebration that occured April 3 on the University of Michigan Diag.
Ream was one of the organizers of the first Hash Bash in the 1970s and explains how it got started and how this year’s version compared to the original version.
He also discusses the 24 percent wholesale tax, and how vaping has become almost as popular as smoking flower.
Beck, founder of the Safer Michigan Coalition, attended and spoke at this year’s Hash Bash. Brennan, formerly editor of Four20 Post, reminds viewers that he’s looking for suggestions on topics that can be explored on future editions of Michigan Marijuanan Today
