KALAMAZOO – The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport announced expanded flight options on its existing air carriers as the airport works to regain air service to pre-pandemic levels.
With these new flights the airport will be at 65 percent of pre-pandemic levels for seats in October 2023 and be at 85 percent of pre-pandemic levels for seats in March 2024.
- American Airlines continues with three daily flights to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport where passengers can connect to over 115 cities.
- Avelo Airlines continues its success in Kalamazoo and announced its schedule through April with nonstop routes to Orlando’s International Airport. The service is 2-times per week, but will be 3-times per week during the holiday period and the period from late-February through April.
- Delta Air Lines recently reintroduced two-class service to Kalamazoo with three daily nonstops per day to Detroit’s Metro Airport where passengers can connect to over 85-cities.
“The additional frequencies on each of the airlines serving Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan provide better travel options to residents in our region, and importantly, for those wanting to visit the area,” said Craig Williams, Airport Director for the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport.
