DETROIT – The Michigan Cyber Patriot program, that works with grade school students to make the cyber security savvy, has placed a team in the national finals, where they will compete against 11 other teams from around the country.

Michigan Cyber Patriot Founder Tamars Shoemaker joins Matt Roush and Mike Brennan on MITech TV to provide details.

She also renews her requiest for cybersecurity experts to act as mentors to her young charges and for Michigan schools to sponsor two to five person teams. The cost typically is less than $200 per team.
