The document, shared on Reddit, states that a secret operation commenced on July 7, 1947, aligning with the Roswell crash date, aiming to recover the object for scientific study.
The heavily redacted document also discloses that a United States Air Force intelligence officer engaged with two aliens after a separate 1964 crash.
Attributed to “leaked United States Government documents,” as reported by The Daily Star, the document outlines the military’s mission under “Project Sigma,” initiated in 1954, to establish communication with aliens.
It claims that “primitive communications” were established with aliens in 1959, marking a positive outcome for the project.
Referred to as “Project Aquarius” on its cover page, the document narrates an encounter on April 25, 1964, where a USAF intelligence officer met two aliens in the New Mexico desert, lasting approximately three hours.
The document asserts that basic information was exchanged, and the project continued at an Air Force base in New Mexico, the Daily Star reported.
The document further suggests that the Air Force attempted to test fly a recovered UFO in “Project Snowbird,” established in 1972, with ongoing activities in Nevada.
