Recently, a government-funded “thought experiment” imagining that several mysterious space objects are in actuality craft from interstellar travelers made international news.
But despite the breathless headlines talking about Pentagon researchers and Harvard astronomers telling the world of the dangers posed by an “alien mothership” in our solar system were intriguing, the actual report did not say we were being invaded—merely what, if we were, this might it look like.

In the video, a woman films the overcast sky outside her house. She says it’s nine-thirty at night. And there, in the clouds, are a ring of blue lights, looking for all the world as if there is a Hollywood-style flying saucer lurking just behind the clouds.
