Are world governments hiding UFO materials? Well, one member of the Canadian Parliament seems to think so.

Last week, a podcast called “Weaponized” published a letter that political figure Brandon-Souris MP Larry Maguire sent to Defense Minister Anita Anand on March 22, 2023. The letter references a “Five Eyes Foreign Material Program” that, according to Maguire, exists between Canada, the U.S., U.K., Australia and New Zealand and is sponsored by Canadian Forces Intelligence Command Canada.

This program focuses on the “recovery and exploitation” of material found in unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) or UFO sightings. Maguire stressed the importance of Canada’s chief science advisor being informed about the program.

CBC News reached out to Anand’s office for a statement but did not receive a response.

Maguire’s constituency office also refused to comment, and Maguire did not respond to email requests for commentary.

Chris Rutkowski, a Winnipeg-based science writer who has researched UAPs and UFOs, confirmed that he spoke with Maguire’s office last week and that the letter is genuine. There is no explicit mention of aliens in the letter, but it implies foreign material that the government could not identify initially.
