ANN ARBOR – University of Michigan graduate Dick Beedon is a true entrepreneur. He has started four technology companies, including one that went public. But in May of 2014, Beedon was diagnosed with Staph and the infection was attacking his heart. He was told he was probably going to die. The outlook was grim. After six months in the ICU, two open heart surgeries, total systems failure, four major surgeries and multiple infections, he beat the odds over and over again and was finally able to leave the hospital.

Every day is still a struggle but Beedon keeps on going. He would love to share the lessons he has learned (and still learning) pertaining to life, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the will to win. Please join him at this special event to hear an inspirational story of overcoming challenges, beating the odds and ultimately learning that every day is a precious gift to be appreciated.
