GRAND RAPIDS – Davenport University will host its first Michigan state competition for Business Professionals of America Feb. 27 when students from nine middle school chapters will compete in more than 14 different events consisting of computer skills, business fundamentals, speeches and many team events.
Davenport University BPA students and staff will assist with judging, grading and proctoring all of these events.
Students will be recognized and will receive awards for outstanding achievements. Parents and family of those competing throughout the day will be invited to the Awards Ceremony that takes place at 3:45 p.m. Individuals who place at the Michigan State Leadership Conference will have the opportunity to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Boston, MA.
