GRAND RAPIDS – The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting on Feb. 5 the Transportation & Mobility Summit that will features experts in driverless technology, logistics, transportation flexibility, and future challenges influencing transportation.
The Summit’s two keynote speakers include:.
Lauren Isaac of Parsons Brinckerhoff share her research and insights on driverless technology and how it will impact government, communities and the industry.
Kirk Steudle, Michigan Department of Transportation Director, will present the State’s planning efforts to accommodate the future realities of transportation.
In addition to featured speakers, the summit will hold a panel discussion with representatives from Uber, Supply Chain Solutions, Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc. and HNTB Michigan, Inc. More than 100 Chamber and community members are expected to attend the event.
