DETROIT ? Technology-focused Strategic Staffing Solutions will present a check for $33,780 on Nov. 7 to My Sister?s Place, a shelter that provides emergency placement, counseling, personal support and legal assistance to battered women.
The donation comes from two fund raisers held by Strategic Staffing Solutions to support the shelter.
?To date, S3 and the Downtown Runners/Walkers have raised approximately $224,000 dollars for My Sister?s Place,? said Cynthia Pasky, S3 president and CEO. ?The continued support from local businesses and participants for both of our annual fundraising events is a true testament to this city?s dedication to giving.
