ANN ARBOR – The Ann Arbor Art Center will turn the mid-winter school break – from Feb. 15 to Feb. 19 – into a week of hands-on art prove that involve collaboration, experimentation, critical thinking and problem solving.
Its theme for the week will be an explosion of color! Kids will learn new ways to use color in the form of paint, pastels, fabric dyes, and more to create spectacular, eye-catching works of art.
This week we will:

– Create an Oaxacan animal sculpture embellished with a variety of bright colors and patterns
– Collaborate as a group to construct a stunning, large-scale, colorful work of art
– Learn all about color schemes, color gradations, tints vs. hues and more!
