TROY – Mobile Monday Detroit will explore the use of drones for corporate, industrial, public services and more. Michigan-based experts will discuss how they are being used for consumer, business and societal benefit. The event takes place on Monday, July 10, 5:30 p.m. at RIIS in Troy.
Godfrey Nolan, President of RIIS, will explore the existing developer eco-system that allows the offering of apps that power drones. He will explore the current state of the market, examples of what can be done legally and potential opportunities available in the app market.
Douglas Sigler, Technical Researcher at DTE Energy, will discuss his experience as part of a DTE technical innovations team tasked with exploring the viability of using a drone to remotely inspect wind turbine blades.
