TROY – Walsh College was re-designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education for the years 2009 – 2014. Walsh met the criteria for depth and maturity of established programs in the field of Information Assurance.
Nanette Poulios, Director of the Information Assurance Center, and Dr. Jeffrey A. Livermore, Chair of Information Assurance, received the award during the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education (CISSE) in Seattle, WA. During the Colloquium, Livermore and Poulios presented a workshop on developing a capstone course.

The next capstone course starts June 29. Students will be looking for projects prior to this date. Keep in mind that projects must start during the first week of the course and finish by the end of the 11-week semester.
