NOVI – Walsh College is hosting a workshop on March 17 that will examine Workplace Privacy Policies at the Novi Campus.

Email and other forms of electronic communication have become valuable business tools. Organizations need to have an understanding of the universe of laws governing their collection, use, disclosure and protection of electronic mail. This seminar will provide useful information on federal and state laws concerning confidentiality, privacy and security issues, application of eavesdropping and wiretapping laws with respect to electronic monitoring or surveillance of employees, wage and hours implications, recordkeeping requirements, and more. Presenter: Michael Blum, JD, from Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC.

Workshop fee is $45 for alumni and partners, $90 for general public, and $15 for Walsh BLI limited members and Walsh students, register by credit card.
