WALSH – IT students at Walsh College will showcase their knowledge and skill at the Walsh College Business Information Technology and Information Assurance Capstone Fair June 16 at the college’s Troy campus. The fair is free and open to the public.
The Capstone project demonstrates to faculty, family, peers and industry professionals that students have mastered their subject area prior to graduation. Fair participants are Walsh master of science in information systems and master of science in information assurance students in the final semester of their degree programs. The Capstone Fair will also feature undergraduate projects from students in the bachelor of science in business information systems and bachelor of business administration in business information technology.
Students are encouraged to solve a real-world problem in their Capstone project. Example project topics include enterprise resource planning, web design, change request systems, data analytics for an audit system, database design for non-profit, healthcare data mart, business process management in HR, security awareness training course, and project management.
