US-CERT Warns Of Vulnerabilities In Windows, IE, Windows Media

PITTSBURGH ? US-CERT released an alert Tuesday advising Microsoft has released updates that address critical vulnerabilities in Windows, Internet Explorer, and Windows Media technologies that could allow an attacker to take control of your computer or cause it to crash.

The systems affected include Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Windows Media Technologies (DirectX).

To obtain the updates, visit the Microsoft Update web site. US-CERT also recommends enabling Automatic Updates.
