FARMINGTON HILLS ? The TruArx Academy will offer a CISSP Training Boot Camp, a five-day immerse information security program for IT professionals with at least three years experience, starting June 5.
The curriculum, though primarily lecture and case studies, discusses the ten core areas fundamental to the understanding of security in a context. This intense five day class not only prepares CIOs, managers, IT officers and engineers for their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification exam, but also provides an excellent foundation for management-level information security positions.
This course is designed for the CISSP certification candidate. Certification testing is optional and must be registered for separately through (ISC)�.
Prerequisites: None for taking the course, although four years of full-time experience in information security or three years plus a college degree is required prior to taking the CISSP examination. A Master s Degree in Information Security from a National Center of Excellence can substitute for one year toward the four-year requirement.
