Sidejacking Attack Demonstrated At May 20 Motor City ISSA Meeting

SOUTHFIELD – Sandeep Chandra, Research Analyst at Ford Motor Company, will demonstrate how to do sidejacking – the most dangerous of all cyber attacks that target personal information, credentials, bank accounts and social networking accounts ? at the May 20 meeting of Motor City ISSA.

Victims of these Man-In-The-Middle attacks are completely oblivious to these attacks. Sidejacking is one such technique used to hijack user web sessions.

This presentation shows how Sidejacking is done using Rouge/Black hole Wifi. Presentation also briefly covers other MITM attack techniques used in the real world. Understanding these attacks in detail helps one to become aware of such attacks and protect themselves from becoming a victim of MITM attack.
