PITTSBURGH ? US CERT has issued a security alert warning an attacker may be able to take control of your PC, or make it crash, through a security breach in Internet Explorer.
US CERT at Carnegie Mellon University warned there is a vulnerability in the way Internet Explorer processes certain HTML code. But if the correct Microsoft patch is applied, the security problem can be fixed.
The problem is in Internet Explorer 6 SP1 on Windows 2000 SP3, Windows 2000 SP4, or Windows XP SP1
