ROYAL OAK ? Security software developer RazorThreat has rolled out a new product that provides what the company describes as cost-effective, enterprise-class secure scaled to small business needs.

TAC-One increases network security, enhancing the effectiveness of security systems already in place by finding threats they miss. The product also provides explicit security policy reports for regulatory compliance.

A scaled version of RazorThreat’s original Threat Analysis Console, TAC-One is priced at $2,995 and is fully upgradeable to other TAC products. Standard maintenance is also available at $539.

“TAC-One brings the power of the Threat Analysis Console to small business, enabling maximum security and network monitoring with minimal effort and at a low total cost of ownership,” said Greg Guidice, president and chief executive officer of RazorThreat.

“Designed for business with small IT departments, TAC-One is ideally suited for credit unions, regional banks and other businesses that need enterprise-class protection of their clients’ personal data but might only have an IT staff of one.”
