FARMINGTON HILLS – Netarx, a provider of Unified Cisco IP Communications announced Thursday it has met the resource requirements to achieve the Advanced Wireless LAN Specialization from Cisco.

This specialization recognizes Netarx for their expertise in planning, designing, installing and supporting the Cisco Wireless LAN platform.

The Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Specialization recognizes Netarx for their knowledge and expertise in building and maintaining unified wireless LAN solutions. Achieving this specialization enables Netarx to deliver the wireless solutions customers need to increase employee productivity and responsiveness, and overcome obstacles to traditional wired connections. Achieving the Advanced Wireless LAN Specialization allows Netarx to grow, address new markets, and add credibility with customers.

To achieve Advanced Wireless LAN Specialization, Netarx was required to designate employees to carry out the job roles of Account Manager, Systems Engineer and Field Engineer. Their responsibilities included Cisco Wireless LAN sales methodology and customer engagement, as well as product planning, design, implementation and operation. The products the specialization focuses on include Wireless LAN Access, Wireless LAN Management, Wireless LAN Controllers, Wireless Bridges, Wireless LAN Client Adapters and Wireless IP Telephony.

In addition to the Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Specialization, Netarx maintains Advanced Specializations in Cisco Unified Communications & Security, as well as being a provider of the Cisco Partner Voice Support Offering (PVSO).
