SOUTHFIELD ? Motor City ISSA’s Holiday party will not only feature an upscale dinner, but also David Baker of Chrysler LLC who will talk about the other firewall, physical security and controls.
Baker will be focusing on three areas relating to physical security: the “social engineering” impact on physical security, how policy and physical controls improve fire safety, and how fundamental security and control principles apply to physical security and controls. An expert on access systems and alarm systems may also be present to provide information on these devices.
Baker has been employed in the Information Systems industry for more than 25 years. Much of his career has been focused on project management, consultation, assessment, training, and production systems operation. In the Data Center security realm, David has managed the physical security and control of several computer facilities at Ford Motor Company for several years. During his tenure at Ford, David also developed, and executed, a supplier security assessment program and a supplier security and control education program. These programs were deployed globally and David performed assessments in North America, Germany and in Great Britain.
