GRAND RAPIDS and BIRMINGHAM – MITechNews.Com, an online technology news portal, announced a media partnership with IT-Harvest, a security news portal, that will include combined news, podcasting, live events and advertising to a nationwide audience of security professionals.

MITechNews.Com includes a Security section that features news, information and events listings. That news is packaged every other Friday in a Security eNewsletter that goes to more than 32,000 email subscribers, primarily to an audience in the Great Lakes Region.

IT-Harvest produces the Cyber Defense Weekly that goes to 4,500 security professionals, 90 percent in the United States and 10 percent worldwide.

Starting immediately, the two organizations will share news stories and co brand the Security podcasting channel produced by MITechNews.Com. Both also will offer co branded advertising and live Security events.
