Michigan’s Chief Information Security Officer Nominated For Midwest Executive Of Year

CHICAGO ? Dan Lohrmann, Chief Information Security Officer for the state of Michigan, has been nominated for the first Information Security Executive of the Year Midwest Awards 2005.

This Award, which recognizes information security excellence across the Midwest, will be presented at a gala dinner at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago on May 12.

Lohrmann, Director of Michigan?s Office of Enterprise Security within the Michigan Department of Information Technology, chairs the Cyber-Security Sub-Committee within Michigan’s Homeland Protection Board, and is the 2005 Vice President of Michigan InfraGard.
