SOUTHFIELD ? LDMI is heavily pushing a new Managed Security Protection Porfolio that is aimed at smaller, rather than larger companies.

The new suite of products was launched on April 1, and is slowly gaining customer acceptance, said LDMI?s Joe Ross.

?LDMI has been in the managed security services business for more than ten years focusing mainly on the medium to large enterprise markets catering to fortune five hundred companies in an array of industries,? Ross said.

?As we developed our expertise and experience in meeting the data security needs of the larger business customers, we realized that there was a lack of managed service offerings in the SME market. Smaller businesses are treated more like consumers when it comes to data security, they are on their own. Professional help has arrived. The Protection Portfolio is a big business data security service for the small business budget.?

To kick start the program, LDMI is offering a special promotion. If customers purchase the connectivity service and the security package for three years, they get one year of the security service for free. LDMI?s typical customer is from 10 to 25 seats on a network, he said.
