DETROIT – An exciting event for InfraGard members is coming up this fall, October 1-3 at The Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, California – The 2007 Critical Infrastructure Protection Congress. The Congress has as it’s primary goal to be the first of its kind to bring together experts nationwide, crossing infrastructure and organizational boundaries, to find effective ways to create a united front against blended threats.
InfraGard now has National relationships with several ISACs, and our membership of critical infrastructure subject matter experts is a key component of critical infrastructure protection going forward? together. An email went out recently to all registered InfraGard members explaining that your attendance is encouraged, representing your sector and representing InfraGard, so please consider attending if you are involved in any of the following ISAC’s: Communications, Electricity, Emergency Services, Financial Services, Highway, Information Technology, Maritime, Multi-State, Public Transit, Surface Transportation, Supply Chain or Water.
The keynote speaker for the event is Fred Halse, the famous lunar module pilot of the ill-fated 1970 Apollo 13 mission.
