ROCHESTER ? Michael Brown, the former director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Richard Marshall of the National Security Agency will be featured Oct. 20 at Oakland University’s third annual Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity Conference.

Topics include cyber security, workplace violence, identity theft, modeling and simulation, risk analysis, mitigation policies, media relations, financial assurance, managing trauma and stress, and more. The event features special sessions for financial institutions, K?12 schools, single businesses and multiple site organizations.

The Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity Conference is sponsored by Jarvis Emergency Services, Unitex Direct Inc., Patriot Services Corp. and J.C. Hanlon Consulting. Community partners include Automation Alley; Leadership Oakland; Oakland County Emergency Response and Preparedness Services; the Rochester Regional, Troy and Detroit Regional chambers of commerce; and Oakland Community College/CREST.
