SOUTHFIELD ? Digital Combat Exercise, Capture the Flag, same thing for the Motor City Chapter of ISSA. On April 17, the security networking group will host a seminar that will teach you how to defend your company’s constantly changing networks to keep the bad guys out.

Formerly called Capture the Flag, now Digital Combat Exercise, it is still taught by Justin Peltier. The new wrinkle is the game is not completely about breaking into systems. DCE is similar to capture the flag but you are trying to amass points instead of just compromise the target machine.

Another new wrinkle is for each hour of attendance at this event, one hour of CPE credit can be submitted toward your professional certification requirements.

Note: This month only, this three-hour event will be hosted at a different venue: Computer Data, 29299 Franklin Road, Southfield, MI. 48034. For directions, click on this MAP.
