SOUTHFIELD ? Computer Associates International on Monday said it had acquired Tiny Software, a California developer of endpoint security technology for Windows desktops and servers. No figures were release by CA, other than to say it was an all cash deal.
CA will continue to market Tiny Software, but also incorporate them into its eTrust software portfolio.
Tiny’s products are sold on the Internet and via resellers, as well as through agreements with companies like Microsoft and Unisys Corp. Tiny, based in Santa Clara, Calif., was founded in 1999. It employs around 20 workers and has sales of $4 million a year, according to estimates.
