ANN ARBOR – William Cardenas, PMP, has been named by Fulcrum Edge as a Principal and appointed to head of its new office in Tampa, Florida, which expands on Fulcrum Edge offices in metro-Detroit and Cleveland to better serve clients.
Cardenas has a deep background in project management and working with governmental and multinational organizations to develop new services, new products, and improved processes. His strengths are well-suited for companies needing process improvement to enhance operations, the company said in a press release.
He served in the US Army as a career officer, culminating his service at The Pentagon where he directed Army international programs and wrote the US Army strategy for Latin America. He holds a Bachelor?s degree in General Engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point, a Master?s degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, an MBA from Averitt University, and a Master?s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional, and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He also holds a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II Certification in Project Management and held a DoD Top Secret Clearance level. He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
