DETROIT – Mobile Monday Detroit has invited experts to provide hands-on demonstrations of their wearable and AR/VR integrated technologies at the October 9th event taking place at RIIS in Troy at 5:30 pm. This event will be a strictly “hands-on” experience with a variety of companies demonstrating their technologies and available to answer any questions those attending may have. Unlike our usual Mobile Monday Detroit event, this event WILL NOT include any presentations.
In recent years, wearables, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) have been gaining significant media attention and showing tremendous growth potential. However, most people don’t have a clear understanding of what these technologies are, what they’re capable of nor how they will take advantage of connected technologies. This Mobile Monday Detroit event will change that!
Technologies planned to be demonstrated include:
- Immy Smart Glasses
- Daqri Smart Helmet
- Daqri Smart Glasses
- Microsoft HoloLens
- VIVE HTC STEAM VR
Demonstrators include:
- Salvatore (Sam) Vilardi, VP of Product Development and Justin Kirkegaard, Software Engineer – Immy, Inc.
- Simon Weallans, Automotive Sales Manager – DAQRI
- Sam Harrell, Research Director – Media Labs – NBC Universal
- Erica Scaffel, VP of Sales, PIXO Group
- Gordon Thorsby, Account Executive, Orbbec
- And more!
