Honda Joining Japanese Consortium To Develop Vehicle Networking, Software Tools

DETROIT - Honda Motor Co. will join up with two other Japanese titans in a group that will develop networking and software for vehicles. Along with Nissan and Toyota, Honda will work in the Japan Automotive Software Platform and Architecture, or Jaspar, group that is trying to standardize software and networks for vehicle control systems.
