ANN ARBOR – The Ann Arbor IT Zone will kick off its November programming with Michigan Leaders Read workshop, “Building the Bridge as You Walk on it: A Guide for Leading Change,” during Rob Pasick’s LeadersConnect Breakfast Series November 1.
Robert E. Quinn, professor at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business will explain why fifty percent of all changes in organizations fail.
Quinn’s new book, “Building the Bridge as You Walk on it: A Guide for Leading Change,” will be the second book in the new series, said Pasick, founder of LeadersConnect and one of the principals of Michigan Leaders Read series.
Quinn, a noted author of earlier texts on leadership, will lead a discussion of “Building the Bridge” among business people, educators, entrepreneurs and other area leaders. The discussion will cover the normal state and the fundamental state of leadership, a position many can attain through personal reactions to crisis that generate deep personal change.
Rob Pasick’s LeadersConnect, co-sponsored by the Ann Arbor IT Zone, Inner Circle Media, Nicola Books, Pfizer, University of Michigan Ross School of Business and Zingerman’s, is designed to bring together business leaders, consultants and educators in a dynamic learning forum.
