TechSmith Named to Software’s Top 500 List
TechSmith also announced recently that it had been ranked No. 364 on Software magazine’s Software 500. The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world?s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The list was published online at Softwaremag.Com
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2005. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. TechSmith software tools and services enable users to capture, record and enhance digital content from their Windows desktop. This allows users to more easily share information and knowledge in compelling multimedia formats, and allows others to observe, analyze and learn from their experiences.
New software from TechSmith
TechSmith also announced the release of version 8.2 of its SnagIt software for Microsoft’s new Vista operating system, as well as for Microsoft Office 2007 and Firefox 2 users.
