BLOOMFIELD HILLS ? John Bamberger, founder of SequoiaNET.com, and former chief operating officer of the company it was sold to, Analysts International, has been hired by gloStream as its chief channel officer. gloStream is an electronic health records software and practice management solutions provider.
He is charged with guiding gloStream’s delivery and support model via channel partners. Bamberger will manage channel partner recruitment, training and sales. He will also serve as a resource for gloStream’s customers, partners and end-users as they implement and use the company’s gloEMR electronic health records (EHR) application.

After graduating from Michigan State University, Bamberger held many
sales and management positions in the IT industry.
Recognizing significant market potential in reselling vendor products
to small and midsized companies, Bamberger founded SequoiaNET.com in 1991. The company specialized in designing, installing and maintaining e-commerce infrastructures and Web-based applications. Under his leadership
SequoiaNET.com grew from a one-man entity to a 600-consultant organization
in just nine years, and was named Microsoft’s Partner of the Year.
Bamberger was also named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for his
efforts.
In 2000, Bamberger sold SequoiaNET.com to Analysts International, a
publicly-traded e-business application developer and network
solutions provider. Bamberger first served as the company’s senior vice
president of sales and operations before becoming its chief operating
officer and senior vice president, where he developed and managed the sales force.
