ROYAL OAK ? Network security company RazorThreat has added Bill Lynch and Chuck Boyer to its management team. Lynch will serve as RazorThreat’s vice president, sales and marketing, and Boyer will serve as director, federal sales.
Lynch will lead all sales and marketing efforts for RazorThreat, supporting the company’s growth strategy as it seeks to enter new markets and gain recognition for its security innovations. Boyer’s role is to conceive, implement, and manage sales for RazorThreat in the Federal market.
“RazorThreat is focused on enterprise and federal sales of its Threat Analysis Console, and the addition of Bill and Chuck to the management team directly supports the company’s aggressive growth strategy,” said Greg Guidice, CEO & president. “Businesses, financial and government institutions handling customer information and classified data are vulnerable to a new breed of hackers, whose targeted and well-financed methods have evolved to the point where they can evade virtually every other product in the security marketplace. RazorThreat’s ability to detect these never before seen threats, targeting the unique vulnerabilities of a specific enterprise, provides an unparalleled new degree of security against the inevitability of an attack.”
Lynch, a seasoned sales and marketing executive, specializes in computer hardware, software, consulting and networking products. Prior to joining RazorThreat, he spent nearly twenty years at Digital Equipment Corporation where he designed, built and led its Corporate Account Program. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for ERP and CRM firms CMI Competitive Solutions in Grand Rapids, Mich. and Applix Corporation in Framingham, Mass. Lynch received bachelor of arts in economics and a masters of business administration degree from Northeastern University.

His expertise includes creating growth programs for companies entering new markets. Boyer is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a master of science degree in electrical engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master of science in engineering administration from George Washington University.
